Clothes that feel like home.
Aara began in a small Kathmandu studio with one idea: make beautiful everyday clothing that women and men actually live in, in fabrics that suit our seasons.
Made in small runs, worn on repeat
In 2021 two friends, a pattern cutter and a stylist, grew tired of choosing between fast fashion that fell apart and beautiful clothing nobody could afford. So they started cutting their own: relaxed linen shirts, wrap dresses that flatter every body, knits that soften with every wash.
Today Aara designs every piece in Kathmandu and produces it in small batches with partner workshops, so nothing sits in a warehouse and every stitch is checked by hand.

We design without a gender rulebook. Some pieces are cut for women, some for men, and many are made to be shared. What ties them together is comfort, honest fabric and colour that works with everything you already own.
